Firstly, you get some air-dried clay.  Then you roll them into a sausage shape but that is only if you have white clay. After you roll it into a sausage shape you use your pinky as a drill and you drill a hole into the top in the middle but not all the way down to the bottom. You need to leave an inch from the bottom.
